the “releases june 1” on the launcher that showed up near the beginning of may.
Ah, yeah…
Well, guess you missed the train.
no butts. just take your time.
If you were Kurinnaxx alliance I would find ya a place in a casual guild that clears; there are several great guilds on this server. Some are more “serious” than others but all are fairly casual.
Also for trade, most everyone is on LFG chat doing what trade did years ago.
Yes. You need to rush to the end. Blizzard sends assassins after people who don’t, didn’t you know that?
In all seriousness, I can’t tell from that character which realm you’re on but I promise you nonraiding guilds and people who are more interested in playing the game than being able to scream “I FINISHED IT!” exist.
Burning Crusade original release date : January 16, 2007
Wrath of the Lich King Original release date: November 13, 2008
Shortest gap between xpacs ?
Yes.
Yes. You should have bought the boost. Then been preparing for the last 2 weeks. That leveling you are doing is pointless. It has nothing to do with TBC. All its doing is holding you back. TBC started at level 58.
but the real fun starts when you get to 70.
The whole reason why we have Classic servers is so…we can play them forever lol. That’s the whole point
Short answer, No. Long answer - No
Take your time and have fun. If any sweaties give you a hard time, just ignore them.
Speed running not going anywhere. Will have to wait and see if they destroy tbc like they did classic because they have to grind till there nothing left to grind.
Hopefully we dont get another boost dm to strath with gold or do every raid with gdkp, but I can promise you they will find something with having completed the content but probably wont be phase 1.
Yeah, definitely. I don’t understand hardcore classic players at all. That’s not why I’m here.
Then keep doing so! You pay your subscription, so play however you want.
It doesn’t matter what other people are doing. You do you. When you eventually get to Outland, there will still be a lot of people to play with.
I have a level 17 BM Hunter that I am currently leveling, and I always see people around me of the same level range. No matter where I go, I see the same. The world still has a lot of people in it.
Try not to let the vocal crowd give a false impression that the rest of the world has been abandoned, and if you aren’t in Outland then you are doing it wrong. That’s their reality, but it doesn’t affect the rest of the community. Everyone else is still doing whatever it is they do, at their own pace, in whatever content they choose.
No… There are a lot of different guilds out there. There is a guild recruitment page on this site. There is also a Reddit one where you can advertise what you are looking for, and browse what people are posting. Lots of variety.
Best advise is to stop and think about what you wanted to do before the hype and the portal drop. Then do that. Don’t worry about others who are no-life’n the game ATM.
They will have finished up their product and then will be either running back through all the content they skipped to get to 70 super fast or they will be alone as most players will be on a similar path to 70.
Take your time do your thing you are totally not alone.
I played vanilla from launch date up until BC first came out. There were people reaching 60 within a few weeks. It took me a couple months. I enjoyed the game for about 2 years after this. Although I wasn’t playing every single day for the last 6 months. My guild had just finished Nefarian in BwL when BC came out. There were still new players leveling at this time as well. There’s no reason to worry about being behind a few players who are 70 already.
Ayyyy take your time. If you burn out on someone else’s theory you wont have fun.
Dont let the Chad’s rent that space in your head.
You are retail bread, yes? Iirc you didn’t raid in retail and played casually. If that’s what you find fun it’s okay to do that in tbcc as well.
The only real benefit of moving with the surge is that there will always be a lot of people doing the dungeons that are current to your level. But I think since classic draws in an older demographic that may not be able to devote tons of time to gaming you will still have a lot of opportunity to find easy dungeon groups for quite a while.
Take your time and enjoy it, you have atleast two years
