as question states how do i start this quest? i cant skip intro quest I already started it.
If they didn’t change it with 10.2, then yes.

Short answer: Yes.
However, take the quest. Go to flightmaster. Fly to Forbidden reach. Turn in quest with Emberthal. Tell her: done this before, etc. Get teleported back to Valdrakken and go on your merry way.
Relatively painless.

well i already started it. so guess i got to do this. /sigh.

You might want to test it and see if you can pick up the ZC quest. Not sure if the requirement is finish the questline or just go to Forbidden reach and turn in the starter quest.
i am to the part where they have reached the island and the cutscene played where the dracthyr person died. and some other random dracthtyr says the island is theirs and to leave. how long does this questline take?

Hm. There were a few steps in the full questline. After the second time (third? fourth?) I was doing skips because it was a bit tedious even for me.
I would double check with the Emberthal character to see if you have the option still after the cut-scene, but if you’re not you might be stuck.
Then again, you also may have met the requirement to pick up ZC, so definitely check in Valdrakken to see if the quest pops up for you.
Is it too late to abandon it and start over, then just click the complete option?

This is EXACTLY how I feel about the entire storyline this expansion. Some random person says something and then there’s a drac’thyr person somewhere in there as well etc etc.

Yes, but if you’ve done it on another character you can skip the entire thing. If you’ve started it already i’m pretty sure you need to finish.
