I finished the 10.1 questline up to where it unlocks world quest for LN on my Hunter.
Just logged in my Warrior and I have to do all of that again? and then on all my alts?
How can there not be a skip after doing it once?
Or maybe I missed it? I started in 10.0 so this is my first major patch. When I finished and unlocked WQ’s at launch, all my other toons could skip to there. What am I missing?
The skip is automatic, so you can just fly there and the main things will be available (digs, world quests, Shadowflame Spark quest, upgrade tutorial quest for a few free whelp crests).
Because there is nothing to skip, I only used that phrasing because you did. It’s just all unlocked account-wide. The campaign is optional after the first time.
edit: The reason the campaign still “exists” is because it has massive rep bonuses attached to it. If you wanted those on an alt, you’d have to complete those chapters.
Ok… I must not be communicating what I mean so let me simplify it for my own brain:
Logged in Tuesday on Hunter
Last night finished the 10.1 questline and unlocked all WQ’s in Loam Niffen
Logged on Warrior this AM and wanted to start the 10.1 quesline on a new toon but skip the entire questline and just go directly to WQ’s unlocked in Loam Niffen
Could not find a skip that allowed me to skip the entire questline that I had already done on my Hunter
That is correct. Blizz wasn’t too clear that the progress would be unlocked automatically this time in lieu of a skip dialog but it seems to be their new approach.
