Leveling my mage at the moment and I like frost. Should I just give in to the fire craze for now?

Frost isn’t bad by any means and it’s still completely viable it’s just fires so broken it outshines it
It seems that way, tho like Emma said frost is viable NA players just loooooove some good ol cookie cutter comps. If you're going through LFG rather btag friends yeah 99% you'll need to be fire or "it wont work"
I'd actually be queueing with a couple of btag friends, planning to either run wmd or godcomp.

Wmpala is good, WPS is good if you got good rsham, MLS is good (most shamans arent used to healing it, it's kinda tough to adapt to quickly), Shatterplay is pretty good as well but not as common, I'd imagine it gets rolled by turbo but could be wrong.

it really depends on your mmr and your friends capability, I'd say yes but it won't work extremely well, and that's if he plays it almost perfectly rdr is just in a bad spot atm but off meta doesn't mean bad, NA players are delusional on that part.
If you play fire no one has a good time and it rots your brain.

There really isnt a good reason to not go fire right now.
Frost is "fine" but fire is so absurdly rediculous that your gimping yourself and your team by not playing it. Especially if you are with a rogue, fire can pump out so much damage during every kidney shot.

pretty sure you could go into arenas as a mage without selecting a spec and still be r1 viable in every single arena season since arena came out
They should buff arcane and frost to contest with fire instead of just nerfing fire to the ground.

I play RMX and MW turbo...
as RMX my mage teamate is frost and turbo feels almost unloseable....
as MW turbo either flavor of mage in RMX feels unwinnable...
turbo pretty much auto flops to any RMX variety.

Firemage is hilarious right now, goofy fun specs don't last long now adays so enjoy it while you can tbh.
