I can check what it says on trust level but I can’t put photos either so I suspect I’m still tl2.
Update: my trust level says “member”
I didn’t get a notification. I just wasn’t able to post images/links, and then one day I could.
edit: Also, when you’re looking at the list of subforums you’ll see the “Lounge” which is for trust level 3 only. So if you see that, you know you’re trust level 3.
It’s not very active. There is one post about every 4 days, and it’s usually in the music or meme thread.

I think the reason they don’t do this is because they don’t want people to game the system and easily track and gain Trust Level 3, especially bot accounts and such.
I had a day vacation, and my original post was put back by the GM because there was nothing it it that is against the rules. But after that, I could post a YouTube video anymore.
If it’s a thing, I can confirm that it is not 100% consistent. I’ve had two 24h forum vacations, and I was still trust level 3 upon returning both times.
I usually get silenced after telling someone I will put them in The Chokey.
