So I don’t know a lot about vanilla. The first time I started wow was in cataclysm unfortunately. An expansion I know a lot of people hated. Anyway, in vanilla I don’t know wether to go armorsmith or weaponsmith. I’m at 197 in blacksmithing and I know the choice is soon. Which should I choose? Why? I’ve heard the arcanite reaper is a very broken and good weapon for pvp. Is it? Which path should I take?
Find out what the crafted epics are, Madseasonshow on youtube has a really good video about this.
Then find out who and how many people on your server can make those things and make your choice from there.
Keep in mind that weaponsmithing has 3 further specializations, Axe, Sword, and Mace.
Basically, you want to fill a niche so you can make the most money.
