Are there people out there botting in PvP now?? I have seen some crazy good response times in arena but the kind of horrid keyboard turning worms you typically find in world PVP are not capable…

Blizzard if there are bots in this game, PLEASE permanently ban them; a level 60 character is a massive loss and it will indeed teach them a good lesson.

They might be able to find a pattern to weed out any bots, but I got to say that it might be hard to find out which is which at the moment. The Horde on my realm act like the AI in a tower defense game. They sit there waiting for a creep to walk by and then pounce. Player reporting is important to stopping bots. A player must be able to tell the difference between a bot and a player to send a proper report.
Not so much that but the no joke instant application of DoT / targeting is just a weee bit too good.
I know what good players look like, and I know what BoT’s do too.
The raw % of players who’re capable of that sort of reaction time are very few; no freaking way this many people can effectively target so effectively even with spy.
There are bots, Multi-Boxers use macro programs that let them do single actions across multiple characters which is honest BS. Thing is blizzard would never disallow multi-boxing because it brings in 3-5x amount of cash from a single person. But really multiboxing ruins the spirit of the game and often these guys sell their gold to Chinese re-sellers, also ever been ganked by a guy multiboxing 5 mages? not fun.
The kind of bots I am talking about more or less target and do most of the playing for certain classes grossly reducing the skill needed to play.
A lot of Gnomes around id assume theyve made some bots yes. Id stat away from Gnomergon if your a botest.

Check out Charred Vale in Stonetalon Mountains, atleast on my server its full of Hunter bots with obvious names like “bhdhfuvp” and chinese named pets.

From your posts, you know what multi-boxes are. So I assume that you are either talking about a single char that is botting or a single char that has something similar to an auto-aim.
I would just say report those in game and let Blizzard investigate those.
yeah I am not too worried about multi-boxers; I don’t usually have any trouble with them, and you’re right.
Ill do that in game, but it does surprise me that people will go down the dark path and bot like that.
Delete this or Skynet will see it and consider this a declaration of war.
