I mean come on its actually absurd that they get that as an ability.
Don’t hunters employ stealth to capture prey?
It makes sense.
Do they also need to be able to do stuff in it like drop traps, necro shield, etc?
Hunters can stealth, summon pets, then sick them on you and sit in camo. Yes they need that.
I would be fine with it if they could be Sapped out of stealth. Seems stupid that they can be seen walking around in Camo, but they can’t be Sapped.
Using necro shield puts you out of stealth. Js
Mm pretty sure you can channel the entire thing in stealth, can’t do that on say a rogue.
Weird complaint.
They can also ress pets without breaking camo and resick them on you
and heal pet from camo without breaking it.
Basically a clever BM can force you to fight his pets for 1 minute from camo endlessly ressing/healing them while he lurks in camo
Hunters are typically high dps along with being super squishy. Which means they are often focused on as the first kill target. So it makes perfect sense to me that they would have an ability to prevent that.
Were aren’t the most squishy class out there, not the tankiest either but feign death conduit+ hunters mark condiut + roar of sac is pretty good rn.
Only complaint is how much damage MM does before it breaks. That multiboxing MM dork has almost killed me so many times.
they need it about as much as druids needed an invincible unstoppable tranquility.
Love whenever a spec becomes competitive we just complain about everything that spec has had for a decade
Scare beast?? Why do they need this, don’t even get me started on beast lore
No it doesn’t.
I channel necro shield in camo all the time, it doesn’t drop it. Unless they’ve changed it super recently.
I think hunters having camo makes sense from a thematic perspective. Hunters IRL wear camo to blend in and hide in blinds and stuff, it fits. As far as balancing it for PvP I think an easy way to nerf it would be to make it drop when you start casting an aimed shot instead of when you finish it like it is now. That would remove the “one shot from stealth” that everyone is complaining about, but still give us the option of being sneaky when we need to.
Yea its just one of those things that really grind my gears ya know? Like if you want to play a rogue play a rogue but hunters dont need to be stealthed,
So you think only rogues should be allowed to have stealth?
What about druids? mages?
Hunters having stealth is fine, it even makes alot of sense from a thematic perspective. The issue comes from being able to double tap + aimed all while being invisible. That could be changed easily tho, just make starting the cast drops stealth.
If they made that change would you be OK with camo then?
Just like if you want to play a mage then play a mage am I right? Locks really don’t need all that mobility.
Do locks really need to be able to hit 50ks?
The mobility of locks is exactly what they need to allow for an actual skill ceiling so they don’t just become damage sponges. Also fine with camo if it actually dropped when you started casting anything including double tap.
