Perception is very useful in BGs and can swing a battle:
- in WSG, if you notice their rogue is not at mid, he’s probably defending the FR. As a human mage FC, you can prepop Perception to prevent from being sapped.
- in AB premade v premade at least, the battle at the mine is usually rogue v rogue and having Perception is a huge advantage.
- if the rogue is with the main team during the initial WSG clash or BS fight instead of solo missions, he is an easy target to nuke since the rogue is usually deep in the back line attempting to sap/cc. Catch him out for an easy kill. Remember the rogue cannot wait in the back because then his targets will enter combat and cannot be sapped.
- human rogues can catch FC druids on their way to pick the flag much more effectively. This is detrimental for the other team if they pick the flag late since their druid is getting “farmed”.
- it’s very easy to know if there’s a rogue or druid nearby if you have Spy installed. A human warlock with Felhunter’s Paranoia and Perception has +16 stealth detection. You can see a rogue from basically anywhere then stick the pet onto him and pull him out of stealth.
