Pretty simple question here. Do heirlooms affect pet battle experience? Not the experience the pets gain themselves, but the experience you receive for completing the battle?
I figured I better ask before I drop the cash on the upgrades (I don’t have anyone to test it on) - especially since they are taking a hit in SL.

No, there are consumables and toys that can boost pet battle xp.
Yes, your character’s xp will be increased with heirlooms. Things like the Darkmoon Faire buff will increase it too.
Your safest bet is fighting the trainers, you’ll always get character xp with them. Against wild pets you’ll need to be in a zone of your level to get personal xp.
Some, but most don’t. If you look closely some heirlooms only grant exp from quests.
