Do growth effects increase your autoattack range?

The ones that come from items like elixir of giant growth or winterfall firewater

This is actually a really good question. My gut tells me it doesn’t make a difference, but I wouldn’t have guessed that Tauren have larger autoattack range but they did.

Pygmy oil in wrath used to shrink it

Yeah, the intuitive design of the game definitely left room for taurens to have the larger range even if it wasn’t expected and the same goes for the growth buffs. It would only take a minute to test this too

You could troll raids with baby spice in wrath. It would reduce the size of any target you used it on, and thus their hitbox. So of course people used it on Thaddius. He would get smaller, walk closer to the tank to continue hitting him, and the other side would have to get closer to hit the boss as well. The resulting explosion was…electrifying

So…im guessing it should, in theory, increase your melee range.

Oh man, I forgot all about Baby Spice. And I don’t know how I did. That stuff was everywhere and it was so fun.

I found someone to test this on the beta and elixir of giant growth doesn’t increase your autoattack range. It would be great to hear from a blue poster about whether or not this is a bug or accurate.
