I got a free character boost (I finally broke down and pre-ordered) but at this time, I have no alt projects besides AR toons who are sitting on rested exp to level up for their heritage armor.
Can I just… let this sit there? In the past with character boosts I’ve had I used them immediately. I have all the toons I want right now… except maybe a Draenei monk? I have ONE monk even though it’s one of my favorite classes, and like, five paladins even though tbh I don’t find them fun to play (besides holy)
Historically, they’ve not expired. In fact, old ones that people have held onto, have actually updated to the newest versions instead of expiring! An example would be a very old level 70 boost, updating to a level 80 and then a level 90 even.
From what I understand, they do not currently expire. If they were to change that for some reason, I have no doubt that they would advise everyone that the boosts were going to expire.

I’ve still got all of them since they started being included with expansions. Like, Perl said, they up get upgraded periodically. They’ll generally be kept one “tier” behind what you can buy on the store (eg. you can buy a 60 boost now; all mine are 50 boosts).

Nope, I still have all the ones that came with preorders on my character screen. Matter of fact some times they get upgraded to a more recent version as well.
