Just came back after around 4+ years or so, and noticing on warcraft pets site it shows in the Pet Score area, a space for Epic pets and Legendary pets.
Are those actually a thing now? Or are they just non-combat or such?
I was looking at pet trainers and don’t see a way to upgrade existing pets to anything beyond rare.

I think there was always a space for higher rarities.
However, there are no pets we can acquire above Blue/Rare.
Nothing has changed about that.
Trainer pets are stored in the system the same way as player pets, so there has to be a way to store a pet with rarity greater than blue.
That doesn’t mean player pets will ever be allowed with a rarity above blue.
