Do end-wing bosses need to be killed on Heroic to do H-LK in the same ID

My guild is getting close to 11/12H now (10-man) and we’re wondering for H-LK prog on future lockouts, if it’s possible to just kill the first 11 bosses on normal and then switch to Heroic at the final boss. With the holidays we’re only raiding 1 night a week and could use all the time we can on on Arthas. But we also don’t want to botch a lockout accidentally.

I know that back in 2009 you did have to kill all the end-wing bosses (Putri/BQL/Sindy) to “unlock” H-LK, but obviously the lockout system and N/H toggle works way differently now.

The requirement of Putri/BQL/Sindy is still in the game. Saurfang is not required, even though he may be considered an end-wing boss.

You cannot attempt heroic lich king without killing heroic prof, heroic bq and heroic sindra.
