I had this question brought to me when i was chillin in the deepest pit of eternal damnation and it made me wonder. Given their nature as creatures of rock and stone with a memory crystal as we saw in Dorn.
(Update)(I have to amend this regarding the playable race earthen who awakened from Magni’s gift. Imbued with the essence of Azeroth’s world soul. But what about the rest like Uldum and Ulduar?)
Do earthen have souls or rather should they?
We already confirmed that the Watchers of Ulduar do despite their make; for example in the situation of Mimiron. His body was destroyed and yet his soul was saved by his mechagnomes who fashioned a body for him to inhabit, though he was never the same since.
The same can be said of the Mechagnomes or other constructs of the titans make. Is it possible for them to forge souls of their own despite their nature, or do they already have them in some form or fashion?
Notice how the Iron Vrykul were turned because of the curse of flesh and became living creatures. The curse was meant to make them soft, weak, vulnerable to corruption. But of course that idea backfired giving way to courage, hope, and valor; tools necessary to fight back. The curse never gave them souls, atleast as far as we know regarding the conditions of flesh-forms.
Does that mean that regardless of creation all creatures have a soul or do they procure one from some source?
Did Tyr have a soul and not just a memory chip? Watcher Koranos was the last of his kind on the Dragon Isles, does a construct like him have a soul? Makes you feel sorry for his companions who died in their sleep from age wear and tear.
