Do Draenei count as furries?

I know they are outer-space goats and all, but is their skin like a human’s or do they have fur? It’s a question I have had for a long time.

Xenos, not furries.

Not really space furries, or furries in general but more back water space squidbillies.

No. I don’t have fur, or scales.

I don’t have an animal mouth or face.

We are humanoids with hair.

Idk, would you consider smooth aliens with human features to be furries? They don’t even have fur on their goat legs.

Skin all the way down to the hooves.

I always compare them to tieflings, or other demons like succubi.

Yeah. I think the answer might be no, they’re just a weird offshoot of demon-elf hybrid (not literally- just visually), imo.

On a slightly related note, I’ve always found it weird when artists depict Draenei hooves as having fur or the suggestion thereof, seeing as, other than these interpretations and the popular fan relation to goats (itself rather nonsensical to me, but I digress), there’s never been any canonical reference to such a trait.

Idk…does a hairless cat count as a furry? Draenei are an odd mix of goat and davy jones though so I’m not sure what they qualify as lol

They’re in that intersection of furries that mingle with “monster lovers”

As a furry (and also fursuit maker) any animal anthropromorphized is furry. Doesn’t matter if it has fur, scales, skin, etc. We don’t really use the term scalies. Imo draenei are far too human to be considered furry. It’s mostly the human-like face

They don’t have fur but fur isn’t a requirement to be a furry as you put it but yes Dranei could kinda maybe be considered an Anthropomorphic Animal or “furry race” as an original species based on Goats but I’m more inclined to say no they’re not

Ok so they said it better lol way too human face honestly look closer too Fauns if anything which are mythical creatures half human half goat but guess in Dranei case Half Alien Half Goat :dracthyr_shrug:

I somewhat liked this show, very somewhat.
You happen to remember Aqua Team Hunger Force?

They’re more based on demons/tieflings so they would fall more firmly in the realm of “monster” fetishism, as Rosen said. The goat thing is just part of how demons have been historically portrayed in media.

I feel like this is a thread that I’ll have to break out the water spray bottle and newspaper roll for…

2007 is not ready for this conversation.

Only for furries with a foot fetish. That’s pretty niche.

Xenos… scum…
