Do DKs really need spell warden pvp talent?

It’s amazing how much casters don’t want melee to have any viable way to fight them.

Spellwarden is universally condemned as bad design (as are any passive healing/absorb effects in PvP), but it’s pretty weak at this point. Not sure it’s really worth complaining about anymore.

What is amazing is that you think DKs need spellwarden to be viable against casters. These forums are wild. I’m talking about DKs (the most anti magic melee in the game) needing yet another antimagic ability on top of the plethora they already have and some how this means I’m a FOTM lock (when I play DK), I’m complaining about advancing (when i mentioned nothing about this preventing me from advancing) and now I don’t want other melee who have not been mentioned to be viable against casters. LOL I should have just trolled.

Sorry that wizard meta is wildly unfun to the entire game, and all caster dps are better than melee yet you still find things to complain about.

Even being the most dominant archetype in game… still gotta whine just because others may get to attack you.

I think Spell Warden mostly has a psychological effect on enemy casters and that’s it.

It’s more like a deterrent. It doesn’t do much since the nerf when you look at details.

It’s crazy how this talent was nerfed into oblivion. If I remember correctly, it was originally 10% magic damage reduction on top of the shield proc and cast speed debuff.

I want spellwarden gone on pure principle, Passive rng mitigation is toxic in pvp

The talent shouldve been an active button press this entire time, that way people feel less like they lack control of the game both the enemy and the dk player alike

Transfusion for example the ds spam talent at least was an active CD that you could track and play around, Spellwarden is pure luck

There’s a lot of abilities that center around “pure luck” for living/dying in that regard.

Immediate thought is Divine Purpose WOG spam procs… then DH Demon procs.

There’s definitely a precedent set for it in the game.

It certainly has fallen.

Most PvP talents are passive in case you haven’t noticed.

was that the one death rune one cos it was trash

the /cast !heal one that took rp but you could spam that button and heal yourself to full for no rp cost was where it was at, they were on the same tier, thought the rp heal was tranfusion, the death rune one was something else
