What is the point of posting in these forums if the Blizzard Devs do not even bother to respond or acknowledge one’s question/concern regarding the state of their game?
Any other game developer with this exact mentality would not last long in the business. It’s as if Blizzard is getting a free pass and taking ALL of us for granted.
Really pisses me off…

Devs don’t respond to ANYTHING. You can’t have an interaction with devs. That feature is not offered to you by Blizzard. How can it be? There are more than a million players. Who has time to chat with a million people?
Besides, the devs have full-time jobs, which do NOT include chatting with players.
This is a player discussion forum. That is NOT a dev-interaction forum.
These devs don’t care what we think so why would they wish to communicate with us?

Blizzard never said that you can ask the Devs questions and get a reply.
You want to co-design things. You want input. You want to have your opinion mattter. You want feedback from Blizzard that your opinion matters. But there are a million players. We ALL have opinions. Your opinion isn’t more important than the 999,999 other opinions.
Blizzard doesn’t provide a “feel-good” forum service to make any player feel more important than other players.
But as a player you can send Blizzard input. You can point out concerns, issues, problems, unintended bad side effects…things they didn’t think about when they made decisions. That is important. Sometimes player feedback causes them to change their decisions.
It isn’t a vote – how many players want X or Y. Instead it is “hey, did you think of this?” kind of input. If you think it’s stupid, maybe it is. Tell them.
They can, but shouldn’t their forums be a priority? I mean, why even have the forums at this point?
They must have other jobs like find bugs. Being a CM probably is like an extreme side gig over there
Blizzard hasn’t had any meaningful communication via any medium during beta or post launch for Shadowlands. I don’t think they want to acknowledge all the bugs and problems the game currently has. They think by not talking about it there will be less attention on it.
Any time you ever see an interview where they talk about wanting to improve communication, it’s always a complete lie. Nothing ever happens, it’s actually gotten progressively worse over time. Blizzard is now a very secretive company that tries to minimize communication with their customers. A lot of corporations are like that unfortunately. It’s always a mistake, people appreciate honesty and transparency, but they always think secrecy is the right way to go.
There is a forum for people like us, and there is a forum for the good kids, I never get Trust Level 3 to access it, as I care too much about the story about Sylvanas and the Jailer and that sort of thing unfortunately really annoys some people, but I just can’t help myself
Log into twitter( a partner of …) today for your free mog.
Maybe it’s easier to spout nonsense on twitter than it is on here
Do you guys not have twitter?
You’re not missing anything. It’s even more trivial than General Discussion, I never go there.
It would be nice to be one of the good kids though one day I guess?
Well, that is actually driving people out of the forums for that matter.
I kinda miss Ghostcrawler here around. Like it or not, he used to visit and answer players with honesty and sometimes hard truths we didn’t wanna read.
We kinda live in a world with huge displays, why isn’t there a twitter feed from blizzard channels on the right side of the forums?

Meh, not really. I’ve had the lounge for a while now because I just don’t see any point in doing controversial stuff on the forums. A lot of getting into there is not getting banned, making posts that get upvoted, and visiting regularly. There’s nothing magical about it.
Twitter and Facebook need to die in a fire.

You know, the reason a lot of people don’t have T level 3 is that they don’t like enough posts, don’t read enough posts and don’t post enough. People always assume it’s because of something they did when in reality it might be something they didn’t.
Exactly. Read, post, upvote, and don’t get banned. You’ll get TL3 pretty easily.

Also, I would like to point it out that there is a sense that forums are completely ignored by devs. So whatever you talk here is just an echo chamber. On the other hand, twitter seems to gain attention.
Perhaps should we shift from forums and change our communication / discussion to twitter instead?
