Was in a group and an off hand I didnt need was up for grabs, and the demon hunter in the group wanted to roll for it.
I have never played demon hunter and thought it strange a DH would want an off hand. Do dhs really use them?
No, but we can equip them so some people snag transmog

Wait what? They have weapons in both hands wouldn’t one of them be an off hand? Im confused.
Offhand typically refers to things like librams, chalices, etc. Casters (primarily) used to use them a lot. Honestly, I didn’t even know they really dropped anymore. Now if the OP is referring to a 1h or fist weapon then I have no idea.
There are a few weapons axes, maces and what not that state offhand on it, just like some will state main hand.
