I’ve been running old world quests and achievements. I’ve turned off my XP gains at level 48 so I don’t outlevel everything, and I’ve been doing the expansion related dungeons.
When I first started using the tabard for Earthen Ring it gave me a bit but then it stopped working yesterday. Does it stop at revered now? I don’t remember that far back.
It should work for any eligible dungeon, up to exalted. While I can’t remember it exactly, I think it works for every pre-mists-era dungeon, except Burning Crusade.

It is odd then, the rep bar is definitely in the same place it was yesterday. Maybe sending a ticket might be worth it, I dunno.
It definitely works for Burning Crusade. In fact the Botanicia is the best place to farm rep with tabards.
Okay. I tested it again to see if I was mistaken about something.
Tabard on.
I queued for a random Cataclysm dungeon. Got Lost City of Tol’Vir, received rep.
Then got Blackrock Caverns, no rep.
Any ideas?
From memory only certain dungeons give rep with the tabards. Also only certain dungeons give rep for certain factions. Or I could be wrong. It’s been a while.

cata tabards all clearly state that they only work in cata dungeons.
I am in Cata dungeons as I posted above.
I believe only certain dungeons for certain reps. Ex. Ramkahan only gave rep in Tolvir and the sky one.
Just have to find the right dungeon for earthen ring
In Wrath, it didn’t matter. A tabard gave rep regardless of the dungeon.

So, I got Earthen Ring rep in Tol’vir though? So confusing and a little frustrating!
Interesting. On wowhead, it says wearing the tabard will give rep in grim batol and halls of origination or any of the heroic versions
