Do Blizzard Customers Have The Ability To Report Employee Bad Behavior?

From being attacked or censored by the Government not by individuals or corporations.

What guidelines? Please link.

I finding it shocking that more people don’t know there full rights.

There is a Supreme Court case being review in related to companies stances on no right of speech.

By posting in any forum of any corporation you have to agree to their rules and abide by them.

If you do not like them, then do not post. And if you break their rules, do not complain that your “first amendment rights” where not followed.

Sorry, Nevermindya, but you either don’t understand, or you’re conveniently perverting reality to support your sinking ship.

Pro life tip: when it seem that the whole world is wrong except for you, chances are good it’s not the whole world that’s wrong.

Good luck with your soapbox and your contacts with Bliz on this matter.

Yet what if you are following those rules and a employee censers you anyway? That is what I am talking about

Then give us the relevant information on this case so we can find it.

Try to back up your postings with facts that can be proven/looked up.

Not just by stating that it is 'there".

*Manhattan Community Access Corp. v. Halleck

They have too much power already, what’s the point of reporting when they can just ban you indefinitely?

I’m assuming they had a bad word or witch hunt with a player name listed, and a mod edited it out instead of deleting the thread. Never heard of mods editing posts aside from things like that

I am agreeing with them .

I am telling the OP that by them censoring him\her that their 1st amendment rights are not being violated because it was and has always meant to be just protection from the government.

Blizzard is not the government so no rights were violated.

If you think that you can say anything, anywhere, anytime and not have any sort of punishment for it, then you are need to lean some things.

Try to yell “FIRE” in a crowded space when there is none. Go on a plane and say you have a bomb and see what reactions you get.

You have the right to disagree. And there are ways to say that you do not. But trying to claim that you have the right to say anything anywhere, anytime, etc is false.

They’re literally allowed to do whatever they want to whatever they own. You have NO rights here.

I had three remove and 5 basically rewritten. So got me. yes it wrong. I normally would care. not right now

WoW forum =/= social media.

I just wish we had some CM’s who would actually engage on the forum again instead of these guys who won’t post in anything beyond a joke thread. I have said it a hundred times and I still stand by it - we haven’t had a decent CM that was worth his weight since Bashiok. Bashiok was like the MoP of CM’s while these other guys are more on par with WoD and BfA.

You really seem to have trouble understanding the First Amendment. It prevents the GOVERNMENT from arresting or prosecuting you for speaking up about your political views or against the Government. It was put in place to prevent what happens in Authoritarian regimes where they arrest people for being “disloyal” to a leader or Govt. Private property owners (Blizzard’s forums) have the right to set rules and follow through on them, including removing content or people they don’t like.

If you need further help, this is a great illustration of First amendment rights.

That case is PENDING. Basing your argument on a case that has not had it’s final judgement yet is not backing up your claim at all.

" Manhattan Community Access Corp. v. Halleck , No. 17-702, is a pending case related to limitations on First Amendment-based free speech placed by private operators. While the case deals with speech limited by a public access television station, questioning whether the station was a [state actor] or a private entity, analysts expect the case will determine if private operators’ limitations on free speech on [social media] violate First Amendment rights."

Doesn’t matter if it’s pending or passed. That case doesn’t apply to the WoW forums.

Dude free speech doesnt imply to private company forums, all theb1st amendment does is let you criticize you government without worry of being locked up for it. IE-if I were to say in public that the Trump Administration are a bunch of money grubbing, corrupt, regressive douchebags I’d be fine of I were to try and ish post that Blizzard was somehow the devil with very colorful words they would rightfully put a kibosh on it as it was inflammatory and contributes nothing but sewing seeds of hatred towards the company and creating a divide in the community.

You are trying to call for the livelihood of a forum mod for doing their job where the edits or deletion was most likely warranted. Yet somehow this mod is the antagonist?
