Do any high elves live in silvermoon?

I wasn’t sure. But did any of them stay in silvermoon and simply refuse to feed on fel? Or is it possible that some returned after the sunwell was renewed?

They get pilgrimmage to the well. They don’t live there. Most of the Belves that live there don’t feed off of fel. It powers the city. The Belves that did were followers of Kael and ended up being the Felblood. The issue that Helves had with us was us feeding off of living creatures for mana.

Yeah, Isn’t the main difference that Helves learned to meditate and live around other sources while Belves learned that mana tap?

All of the Elves that live in Silvermoon are High Elves, they just call themselves Blood Elves now.

Yeah the mana tap was passed to us via Illidan.

My building’s janitor, Floorthra’mar is a high elf I think.

I’m consistently told by users on these forums that Alliance-aligned High Elves do in fact live in Silvermoon.

I disagree with this idea, but people seem really adamant about it.

Some are allowed in for pilgrimages. They cannot stay unless they become Sin’dorei.

The Alliance allied High Elves and Silver Covenant aren’t allowed in.

I was going to give this same answer. But realistically I wouldn’t be surprised if a number of self identified high elves have made their way home now. I mean why not? Things are much more amicable between the horde and alliance now.

Turf war between the Sin’dorei and the Crip’dorei

We only know of one high elf farstrider lodge that did this, other high elves had to sate their addiction from other magic sources like magical artifacts etc.

It’s certainly possible, but they would then call themselves blood elves, we’ve not seen anyone calling themselves high elves be part of the kingdom of Quel’thalas since the scourging.

It seemed like a pretty clear “let them eat cake!” narrative.

I’m certain Valeera lives there. Maybe somewhere close by. :mag::robot:

Most of the Elves who cared about Silvermoon moved back and became Sin’dorei before TBC. There were a few groups “banished” from Silvermoon for not wanting to be around the reckless use of magic, but those were small groups (and the only one I know of turned into wretched somehow when Cataclysm came around).

So, while there might be a few High Elves in Silvermoon, most High Elves already have their homes elsewhere, otherwise they would have become Blood Elves already.

Because they are only allowed pilgrimmage by our Regent Lord. At least for now.

Valeera is a Blood Elf.

Who is gonna know? They’re just another elf. The ones who call themselves high elves don’t look any different. They weren’t branded.

Because they found out some Belves were practicing the wrong magic and now they are Alliance. :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

I don’t see any Helves wanting to break the rule either. They seem not that into living there amongst us. They still aren’t over how we survived when the well was broken. We are still morally repugnant to them.

We haven’t really had any lore to tell us that one way or another. The desperate times and what the blood elves did to survive are long passed now. I’m sure plenty of the high elves came back as soon as the sunwell was relit.

If there are any story beats about anyone coming back, it’ll be in Midnight. The continuation of the Friendship is Magic series.

But I’m personally not for them doing this absolute forgiveness, everyone is friends stuff. If that’s what they do and it’s not just temporary help to help keep the void at bay and preserve the light.

Because most elves don’t really get along and pretty much just do things for survival.
