Do all warlock specs have demon gate?

And if so, what is stopping you from using it on the slimes area in DoS? Every time I ask for demon gate either for the rushing slimes or the dumping pipes later on, Y’all forget the english language.

Demon gate.
Pls.

Thank.

They do, and I always lay mine down there.

Prolly just lock being lazy.

I always do, just to have more than half the team ignore the gate altogether.

EDIT: Shame it doesn’t work at all to get past the oil slick section after it.

Oh? The disc priest still gets knocked down to slimy doom from the pipes? Good to know.

I try to bring warlocks to Dos because gate makes Gnome and Arden areas that much easier if they know what they’re doing.

Yeah I place it down and most time the entire group just walks by it like the damn gate is part of the dungeon design.

I mean, I can throw down ring of peace like a toddler shoving their doll in the toilet, but woe be to the caster that is still standing there when those backup slimes burst through lmaaaooo

I always throw my gate down, but 90% of the time the group just runs forward while I’m mid cast, or if I manage to get it off before they leeroy rush through the slimes they just walk past it like they’re afraid of it.

I have Pillars of the Dark Portal thus no cast time, and set it up before it’s time to cross and people stupidly walk around it.

It does work.

But I’m an engineer so I just turn it off instead

This happens a lot.

I’m just thinking to myself “you just saw me put that up. I didn’t placed it there for ambience.”

I would say 9/10 times if I put up a gateway, a brain-dead (usually melee / tank) clicks it immediately, gets ported, then complains about why I put one up in the first place. I deliberately have to put my gateways in inconvenient locations so people won’t accidentally click them.

Lol yes. I try placing some a little off from the edge in Plaguefall last boss in case someone can’t get to the safe side and had someone in my party get upset because it was dangerous for him.
