We are literally animals and species is a scientific term. It has nothing to do with something being lesser, and it’s certainly not offensive to me.

FTFY. While it may not be offensive to you, it will definitely be offensive to someone else. A person can barely speak a full sentence nowadays without offending someone. Not that I give much of a damn, I’m just pointing that out.

Personally, I make a point of offending everyone equally without regard for race, species, creed, religion or gender. You could say I am an equal opportunity offender, and sometimes, I even go out of my way to offend someone. I wouldn’t want them to feel left out.

Species is the correct terminology since DnD is made up of more than just Humans. Race is a term specific to the Humans.

All humanoids in WoW aren’t Humans.
