If i run DM and do the tribute. can I invite someone else into the dungeon and sell the box loot to them? or is that against the rules?
IM NOT ADMITTING TO IT I just want to make sure this is OK to do before I attempt to do these runes to make some pocket change
You can not sell any items from dungeons for gold
Yes, at least i did in the classic release on my hunter. Was a great way to make gold, not sure if you are still able to or not.
You have always been able to sell tribute loot to other players.
That’s true, but what I think is meant is that selling loot in SoD is against the rules since they banned GDKP. You cannot sell tribute loot for gold.
In classic yes, but in SoD when they banned GDKP they added some vague rules associated with it. That makes it more confusing if they meant to included certain things or not.
I remembered when I tried to get clarification on some rules I got belittled by idiots saying I just wanted to cheat the game and I should enjoy my ban.
But what op said is a genuine question that no one will probably get ban for as they probably didn’t truly mean to include it in the gdkp ban. But with the broad wording does technically included it. And Blizzard will not answer it either.
You can not sell bop gear in SoD its against the rules
Do what you want Blizzard doesn’t care about SoD.

They banned gdkp raids i dont see anything that says you cant sell tribute loot. Seems to be a gray area.
Edit: just found something that says items in exchange for gold from a dungeon or raid so i think everyone else is right and looks to be against tos
For real. If blizzard does not punish people clearly breaking the rules I wouldn’t worry about them going after you for a fringe ambiguous case.
It is and i 110% will report any and all who do it, that nonsense goes against the spirit of classic and is anti community and honestly anti gamer mentality

If being a part of a ‘community’ involves being associated with neurotic control freaks like you guys, count me out.

K bye you are not wanted in classic
Nah, gonna keep playing the game however I want and not letting unhinged redditors influence how I do it. If I get banned then that just means I am free from this prison.
Curious who elected you the season of discovery speaker. And also curious how healthy you think the game and community is when you run off most the playerbase
Do you also plan to report people for selling DMF buffs, tanking services, and summons in general?

GDKPs place a dollar value on a form of entertainment of which you are already paying $15 month to participate. The number of people who buy gold is extremely high, so it becomes extremely profitable to sell your gold. GDKPs launder a massive amount of gold sourced from bots. And that ill-gotten gold is then distributed people players, who then sell it back to the community. The very basic fact that your budget determines your invite tells all you need to know.
Selling your time is not the same as selling an item. But it falls under the same umbrella as GDKPs for me. (Turning your form of entertainment into a form of profit.)
Summons are almost always bots. Take your summon and report them, who cares.

Players who cheat and break the rules are not wanted period its healthy for the game long term to get rid of them, see the bot problem and blatant terrain exploting of mages in classic

Lol yeah they are cheating by selling a chest. Again you need control. And you have to feel better than others, or you feel worse because you may lack something others have. Tribute runs aren’t going to be pushing people to buy gold. Get out of here with your nonsense. We aren’t talking about bottingbor mage hacking. Dear Lord you need to Karen harder.
