I know this has been talked a lot, but I just watched Sarthe video “Death knight solo utgarde keep” and I’m shocked.
Where in the world can you solo a dungeon in a brand new expansion? How is this ok?

They get one beginning this even at 3pm PST. Once we lvl to 80 they will not be as OP as they are now.

It was like this back in the day too, the first hero class was meant to be stronger than the others. They will most likely nerf them as they did back in the day.

OP is basing it on teh current pre-patch which is why they seem op. As other classes level they will not be as hard to fight in pvp as they are currently.
This is no different than in 2008. The DK is 70, the game isn’t balanced around a level 70. It’s more balanced around 80.

They’re still about at strong at 80 PvP as they are now. But really they aren’t that strong right now. People are just bad and the DKs they’re facing have braindead rotations.
Unholy/Disc 2s is going to dominate the 2s bracket for a while
He’d probably have had a heart attack if he played in 2008 when DKs could actually just solo through an entire team in a WSG. LOL

Im fine with two classes being broken for a bit, im assuming lots of people want to relive this xpac as the broken class they never rolled back in the day.
My blood/frost hybrid PVP build with some Res was unkillable. Even other equally geared full offensive DKs struggled. It was so fun lol

In comparison to DKs at launch of the original WOTLK you’re weak is what I am saying.

Death Knights are a hero class. They are supposed to be much, much stronger than the others. This was the same when the very original Wrath launched.

Throughout OG Wotlk, DKs were nerfed every patch, and in some cases other classes were buffed to compete with them as well. By this balancing patch it’s the weakest iteration of Wotlk DK.
It isn’t bad, it’s just easy and still top tier. People are just making it out to be some unstoppable wrecking ball. It isn’t. DK is just easy and the average player is bad at PVP
