Yes, I googled and it was heirlooms the first time. This was a DK from when they first came out so I had to mail this one heirlooms. So I deleted them all now that it doesn’t matter, but it still says I have some items that will not allow me to delete. That’s why I say I likely need to file a ticket. I honestly got so annoyed that I quit trying to figure out what was blocking it and have just let it sit there.
Either way, I think a simple popup that says “you will permanently lose XYZ across all accounts, do you still want to” should be fine. If people choose yes and file a ticket to them back? I’m okay with Blizz telling those people it’s their problem.
when you remove items from the mail, you need to make sure you delete any letters… the mailbox needs to show as totally blank.
while most mail will expire/bounce back after 30 days, some blizzard mails won’t.
are you talking about mail, or inventory items?
if you’ve got inventory items blocking deletion, mail them off or delete them
Well they don’t even need a second pop-up, you’re already typing “delete” when deleting stuff.
I mean deleting a character with mail or that they wouldn’t let you delete currently. So instead of not allowing just say you will lose the items permanently. If the person still chooses yes? Then the character, mail, etc is gone. I don’t think anything should block you from deleting a toon - it’s your choice.

I’m still curious as to what item is preventing you from deleting your character. Would be interesting to know once you ever find out.
Mailbox is just down the hill from Death’s Breach and it takes less than 30 mins now before you head to a capital city. No one but you will be looking at your Characters face through her helmet till then.
This seems more like a QQ troll post than an actual complaint.
Are the ARs now subject to the Arthas starting zone? /shudder
I understand that and tbh i was being sarcastic when I ask blizz to remove the gift ectect it was more me venting about something that I founded dumb rather than me asking for them to fix it , I am not that entitled
think what you will
people make bad choices.
…and then they expect blizz to come to the rescue.
this is why we have to have so many warnings on everything.
there is a mailbox though. It’s in the little scarlet town
well character creation has one advantage barber shop doesnt; randomizer. i actually love the randomizer combos the game comes up with; its how i decided on a few of my alts. i cant 1 by 1 make a decent looking character sometimes but i love what the game comes up with when i click that lovely button; i wish barber had that
I’m not even sure how they are replying to tickets. Before the pre patch, I raised a ticket for a bug that prevented me from getting credit for a bg quest. The blizzard agents keep telling me that they have fixed and I can complete quest but I’m not able to, after several tickets to and fro, one of them finally said they did it for the wrong character. I asked them during the ticket raising they asked for the realm and character which I indicated and… The reply is they are not aware.
In the first place, if they treat their staff better and not be stingy, for all the profit they are making which exceeds their own expectations, then maybe were would not have a delayed and broken patch which we have to raise tickets for.
people skim thru the first few until they see something to comment on… esp happens with long threads. i’m sure as hell not gonna read 40min worth of mostly dumb comments just to try and be useful in the off chance everyone before was trying to troll the OP.
