I just came back to Cata after a long break. I could swear in WOTLK as unholy your pet would auto summon at the beginning of matches. Right now that is not happening. So I have to blow a 2 min CD at the very start of the match which then doesn’t reset when the gates open, feels bad if you then become the target and can’t sac and then resummon which cripples your damage. Anyone else have this issue?

It’s entirely dependent on where you when you queue for the arena
If you’re flying you’re pet is not summoned ergo you won’t have a summoned pet
If you’re on the ground your odds are a bit better…
It’s the same for warlocks so don’t be afraid to figure it out before posting
See that’s the thing though, is it doesn’t matter. I thought that might be the case so i jumped off my mount in org. Summoned my pet and just stood by the conquest vendor as we grinded out the weapon. I didnt have a single game where my pet started with me.
As a warlock, that’s not how it works. You have to summon in the starting thing.

How so? Played many many games on my hunter and warlock, and i never had to summon them at the beginning of the match unless they were dead prior to the match starting.
