DK pet customization

Blizz its time death knights get more options and quality of life changes for pets. I know that undead pets are not really permanent like hunter pets or demons are but it would be a nice change to be able to name our ghoul or have a few other options for it appearance. I know we have two glyphs already but it doesn’t really compare to hunters. I can’t compare to warlocks because warlocks also have a limited amount of choices for pets. Allow us to “tame” or raise more unique undeads there are many models from WOTLK, Legion and now Shadowlands that give us these options and add flavor to all fellow dks in game.

I would absolutely love it if Death Knights and Warlocks could permanently “tame” undead and demons respectively.

My little gnomes would love to run around w/ a giant wiggly butt (my kids’ name for abominations).

My Lock would love some of those creepy inquisition demons as well.

There are 3 pet classes in WoW (one of them UH just a spec tho);

Locks and DKs also could benefit a lot of having a stable-like system to allow them to procure the pet skin they’d desire.

Glyphs are good and all, but in the end, unless Blizz would add dozens, they are limited. Stable systems would allow glyphs to be more focused on core spells.

Legion was a demon themed expansion, there’s a vast menu for Locks to choose from. Shadowlands supposedly will have a lot of undead, especially in the Maw zone, DKs would be served.

Heck, I’d even go further and ask to add a mini-stables for Frost mages to choose the Water Elemental skin they like the most, since it’s also a perma pet.

I think Demo Warlocks and Unholy DKs should be able to “tame” (for us it would be more along the lines of “enslave”) the different demons and undead out there.

They don’t have to make it complicated. Different undead pets wouldn’t have different abilities. It would just be a cosmetic thing. As for Warlocks, they can break it down into “families” like they do for Hunters. Except, Warlocks would have only… 5?

yeah at this point it feels a bit lazy from blizz to not throws a bone or two. I’m not asking for a whole revamp on how pets work for dk or locks. Just give us different looks that’s it.

Exactly, just have an interface with 5 slots, and when you click the “voidwalker” slot for example, you’d pick from the demons you have enslaved that can fill that tanky pet archetype.

To be honest, a few alpha builds ago, a lock alpha player discovered that she had access to the stables NPC with her FG inserted in a slot there, but it could’ve been a bug… or maybe a foreshadowing for this feature?

Honestly this would make me main a warlock again.

oh that’s nice, it could be a bug after all but lets not lose hope.
