Well, we always see the trope of the big, mean, aggressive dog named Fluffy.
Why not try an antonym? Make it something funny like “Toodles” or “Tickles” or something.

Do DK’s give themselves a new name when they come back from the dead? I figured a DK name would be the same as it was in their previous life.
Add “Ded” to the beginning of their original name.

My DK is named Ereshkigala, I googled death gods and scrolled through until I saw one I liked.
Then apparently like a decade later some anime used the name for a waifu so now everyone thinks I got the name from that lol
