I’ve created my character three times after I turned in the quest “Into the Realm of Shadows” that rewards the Acherus Deathcharger and it failed to give me the mount.
There’s no item in my bag and I’ve seen that it’s supposed to be in the unholy tab of my spell book and nothing is there. As far as I can tell, I get the Sigil of the Dark Rider and that’s it.
I don’t understand how I’m not getting it when I see others riding around on the mount. Has anyone else had this issue?
Open your character pane, there is a “Pets” tab on the bottom. Your mount is learned in there. I think there are four tabs now. Character, Pets, Skills, Currencies. Its one of those tabs that shows your learned mounts.

This is a bug, that I believe is related to autoloot, which is turned on in the interface settings. I have seen the same behavior multiple times in PTR and in production WOW Classic when fishing. Clicking the bobber often does not result in the loot going to one of you bags.
