blood dk in battle grounds …junk FC cant even sit a node without getting sap/cc capped …useless in arena …just all around dead spec …
unholy has no burst damage…i guess it can guard the stables or light house …woopie
frost is getting gutted next season …all around death of the death knights …boohoo for dks

Are you standing directly on the node? Try to stay far away so they cant cc you and immediately start capping.
Remember, ghoul and rune weapons will spin for you as well!

It’s got insane aoe rot and grips, though. The ability to 90% d&d slow, chains, and grips are the strongest part of DK in bgs… and ya, it can sit IG but it’s worse than fdk imo.
I wouldn’t call being made mortal “gutted”.

Even if something was literally unplayable, you would say : “but you can que atleast”.
Blood isn’t bad in BGs, nor is any DK spec.

Merry christmas, Alodor! I do point that out often, especially when a class is “not too bad”. A lot of times balance is a lot closer than players feel and they don’t realize what’s holding them back is their play rather than spec balance!
I absolutely wouldn’t! I advocated for ww, dh, rdruid, and rshaman buffs basically the entire season up until the last patch, and as soon as dk got nerfed the first time I said something along the lines of, “there’s no way they got a 7.5% nerf without compensatory buffs. If you nerf any class by 7.5%, they’ll become functionally unplayable”.
That all being said, FDK is S tier now and is getting extremely minor defensive nerfs next season. Unholy WAS pretty bad, but idk where it stands RN without seeing it more. Obviously petkick is making it work, but I’m not sure how much of it being rare is due to unholy still struggling or frost just being better.
Bdk was S tier also with some insanely tozic burst that got nerfed, but it still fills its role totally fine as a tank and is actually the best tank spec in BGs!
That’s also why I talked about how OP can better utilize his toolkit, as bgs seemed to be his main form of content! Hope that clears things up

This talent sucks in 3s cause you need teamshell/sim/necrowounds/strang i barely ever play it its good in shuff tho cause shuff

Ya that’s what I was thinking. Like, maybe if you’re playing with a sin rogue and a healer with stuns in a melee lobby where they have stuns/silence and there’s nothing to reliably sim.
But I feel like teamshell and necrowounds are guarantee take and you just decide between strang or dark sim.
Honestly team shell isnt THAT crazy in shuff tbh its good into certain stuff for sure but its not mandatory into everything
Ya that makes sense. I’m for sure biased and overinflate it’s value b/c of how many boomy games I’ve played. Just having the cdr and making a healer immune toCC on a stun completely shifts tempo. It’s also super satisfying to do.
While you’re here, WDYThink of clawing shadows? I like it a lot vs ranged, but I still see everyone playing the disease strike thing.
