For the lazyExhume Magic
1 Rune 20 yd range
Instant cast 45 sec cooldown
Requires Priest
Requires level 80
You exhaust all magic from the area, instantly removing all harmful magic from allies within 8 yards.
After 1.5 sec, 1 beneficial Magic or Greater Magic effect is dispelled from 5 enemy targets within the area.
For each Magic effect dispelled from enemies, you gain 10 Runic Power.
Reads Priest only but returns Runic Power.
This would actually be an amazing added utility for DKs. Not only does it give us options to defensively dispel our own teammates/healers out of CC, but we can choose to use it as an offensive dispel that WORKS ON BUBBLES AND BLOCKS.
Now I want it really badly, and will be super sad if we don't get it.
Also, the 1.5 second delay will make for some awesome plays, like Priests predicting and precasting Mass Dispel to instantly take out bubbles.
It addresses our significant lack of utility in both PvE and PvP, so it's clearly aimed at DKs if the rune cost and RP generation wasn't enough of a clue
We might actually be OP next season with all of these buffs, but after what we've gone through with recent seasons, and this season especially, we deserve a spot at the top for at least a season
Would be a real shame if this didn't make it to live. The game needs another way to dispel bubble/block, and giving Shattering Throw back to Warriors with their already bloated kit isn't the answer. As the only melee without any real utility, it just makes sense

This is HUGE! Im so beyond excited that i wanna scream.
This is going to give us much needed utility!!! Dks have terrible cc other then chains of ice. This is going to give us something to bring to our group other then raw damage and AMZ..

Read the tooltip I quoted? It's got Requires - Priest in it yet costs runes and returns RP. Nobody knows what it is or what it does or even who its for.
Please for the unholy DK dream. Give us some castable damage for our downtime that gives debuffs or buff haste too and weeoo

This might be an indicator of something similar to the druid spell Symbiosis from MoP. They gained a different ability depending on who they used Symbiosis on.
It's the only thing off the top of my head that would explain a 1 rune activation cost coupled with a priest requirement.

Fair on all points. Though I'd hedge that calling the spells completely new would be somewhat of an exaggeration. They'd be at least loosely based off the closest matching ability from the class in question. Additionally it's probably somewhat easier to balance the abilities if the class it's tied to is a mandatory presence for it's use. At least from a PvP standpoint.
That said, If I'm wrong and DK is getting Mass Dispel as a baseline, that would also be a very welcome change for us.
We literally had this (a Dispel) in Beta and it was removed and given to DH. No, the fact that it's AoE now doesn't make it fine nor acceptable. This "lets 'fix' issues that shouldn't have existed in a patch!" has occurred way, way too much over these last 2 expansions. There is 0 reason it needed to be removed in Beta and there's 0 reason it should be added now as a "fix" for DPS DKs low presence in M+. Honestly, it's just tiring that the same stupid mistakes are being repeated every expansion.

I'm not entirely sold that this was aimed at M+, even if it might be helpful there. We don't even know for sure that this isn't a Warmode talent. Just not enough info.
Oh god please be baseline and not another PvP only talent, i miss having AMZ in PvE same with darksim.

Am I just being pessimistic? Small buff to DS and a MD really gonna fix dk pvp? Man we’re so soft our entire rotation is gonna have to be DS in order to live. Maybe a Md would be cool for our teammates to secure kills because we sure can’t with the crap offense we got. I’m not exactly rolling in KBs atm, critting for 4K Oblit and FS..,,

No you're still gunna fall over and die unless they nerf the..... top like 8 classes on the ladder.
Yeah that’s what I thought. Buff to DS is nice but exactly right we’re still gonna fall over, and spend our entire rotation trying to DS for health rather than kill anything.
Imho PTR has a LONGGGG way to go before dk isn’t trashcan tier in 8.1

I have been talking about it.
Between this, the 4% damage buff, the death strike buffs unholy is looking really strong.
where can I find this on the ptr ?

Already live, and not noticeable. Our individual spells were nerfed when that 4% went live, we actually do less damage (relatively) than we did at -12% on the aura.
I had to put nearly 20 item levels on my DK to get damage back to where it was a month and a week ago,when the damage was already bad. This is also why you saw Unholy plummet in Heroic Uldir near the beginning of October, in less than a week the spec went from lower middle of the pack to bottom of the charts.
