Hey guys!
I’m trying to play Frost with a two-handed weapon, but I couldn’t find any builds on Icy Veins or Raider IO to use as a reference. I’m just tired of Unholy hehehe.
Is two-handed Frost any good? I’m not trying to be hardcore or push high-level keys, I’m just planning to do some content as regular raids and low-level keys.

Remove Shattering Blade and Shattered Frost
Perhaps put those points into Inexorable Assault and Glacial Advance and enjoy
I play a lot of 2h frost in PvP and m+. You can take my build from raider io.
2h Frost is slightly behind DW if you have the same ilvl weapons in my experience. I have a 675 crafted 1h and a 665 off hand vs a single craft 675 2h and the damage difference between the 2 is within the damage variance of Frost itself from pull to pull. I can pull 470m damage in one 5 minute dummy smacking session and then do 515m the next just based on how nice the RNG wants to be with resets. 2H is perfectly capable of high purple parsing.
That being said, 2H is better at low mob numbers from my experience as Obliterate is so much of your damage and it becomes even better when you have 3 targets. Its still very important for DW, but when you get to 3 targets for cleave, 2H Obliterate will do millions more damage per GCD than DW Obliterate will. Especially if theyre stationary and its nice that you don’t have to change talents as the spec only has 1 build. DW pulls ahead when mob numbers climb a bit, but at that point you’ll probably want to play Unholy anyway.

As for stats, Crit is your #1 with Haste and Mastery pretty much tied. You want to keep them around the same amount if possible. 20% Haste and ~40% Mastery with 30% or higher crit. Pair that with a good trinket combo and a high ilvl weapon and you’ll do fantastic.
