DK Boost in WotLK Classic

I want to preface this by saying I fully understand why people DON’T want DK boosts, or any boosts at all in classic…

Now that fresh servers are announced and coming out, I have a dilemma that I bet other players are having too. I want to play on both fresh AND existing servers during the prepatch, but since I’ll be rerolling DK in wrath to relive my retail main’s glory days, I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to enjoy leveling through Fresh AND leveling my DK/prepping for wrath.

I WANT to do both, but I don’t think it’s possible. For anybody rolling any other class, they’ll be able to boost that toon, and then play fresh in between raids on their new existing server main.

I understand there shouldn’t be DK boosts on fresh servers, by the way, and I wouldn’t want that. But at this point in existing servers it doesn’t really make much sense to restrict a boost on one class.

I have a feeling I’m going to have to skip out on playing fresh purely for this reason unfortunately. I guess consider this post a request for a DK boost in wrath?

Either way, I’m still hyped for wrath coming out. Playing with the old DK talents against will be a dream!

I will never understand people asking for DK boosts.

You do know that you leave the DK starting zone at level 58, right…? And with prepatch the xp required for 70 will be reduced? You’ll see plenty of casual DK’s hitting 70 within a day or two, and they’ve already stated they want to do a longer prepatch than TBC got.

and on top of that, DK’s will still exist on your main server. Fresh will stop being fresh after about a month.

Level your chosen alt first, hit 55, boom, roll your main.

Or if you have more money than time (lazy): buy a lv 58 boost for an alt and since it’s 58, you’re all set to make a DK.

OP is aiming for fresh, so boosts will be disabled for at least 90 days I believe.

Oh ok then yeah. No boosts are available for 90 days on fresh and honestly? Good.

Bots and gold farmers abuse the hell out of the boost (and server transfers) that rapidly inflated the worth of gold and price of mats.
