Quick question…I can get Divinity for 7.99. Worth it? Never played these games, how has it aged?
They’re both good games; worth a look if you enjoy single-player RPGs.
Not my thing but my friend says its tight as heck.
It’s an isometric, turn based actual RPG, the story is pretty good and fun(extra fun with a friend, provided both of you are going in blind).
Also, 2nd one is amazing, an improvement over everything 1 did. Both are well worth it.
If you are into that stuff it’s pretty goog.
Enjoy the customization in that game ![]()
Ty!
Is the story a slow burn or is it pretty gripping early on?
How is the soundtrack?
Pretty good games. For me, they fall into the category of mediocre story, great gameplay.
I like really like the OST, it’s very high fantasy-ish, but the story is a slow burn for sure, thing is, the story is told like older RPGs, while everything is voice acted, it’s essentially a dialogue box with some few in-game cutscenes here and there and some stylized cutscenes for important moments in the game.
But yeah, story gets more interesting in the 2nd game, the first one it’s essentially just setting up the world and it’s lore if anything.
Thank you sounds like I can’t go wrong… It’s only $8.
Played the second one. Worth every penny
I found them really boring. I don’t like turn based games tho ![]()
Its amazing!
Only worth it if you love turn-based strategy and RPGs (think Final Fantasy Tactics or Temple of Elemental Evil).
I love them a lot, but the story is terrible in both (especially DOS 2, probably the dumbest story in a CRPG) and the exploration is pretty unexciting. The lore is nonexistent (nothing like Forgotten Realms, WoW, Elder Scrolls, or even Pillars).
The combat is 90% of the game, and it’s really fun. Excellent music in both games, too.
def worth it. dos2>dos1 but playing one makes you want to try the other one.
2 great games i’ll never regret buying full price. it’s a no brainer with any kind of rebate tbh.
