Hmm, I feared it was that bad.
Holy priest is in a pretty bad position right now (unless you’re in a top-end guild) having our BiS legendary locked behind the final raid boss and practically every other legendary being trash tier and/or not contributing meaningfully to throughput.
Hopefully once we get Harmonious Apparatus on a wide scale hpriest will feel more solid.

That supposedly BiS legendary is debatable because Flash Concentration turns priest into probably the strongest single target healer right now, capable of watching both tanks with Trail of Light, and potentially getting 2 Holy Word Salvation if the fight is long enough when using Holy Oration.
Hpriest feels very solid right now if you want to play around either legendary depending on your raid needs. Harmonious Apparatus will boost your raid healing, Flash Concentration will boost your single target.
But back on topic, yeah the RNG for Divine image is very bad. Blizz should raise the % chance or just set it to every X Holy words so it’s much more available on demand.

Almost through will normal after this week and I have to say holy is in a great space for this raid tier. I run spirit shell disc for raid but found going holy for KT (no holy legendary) really fun. I also think that for Council holy could be super powerful for aoe heals + providing mana to not only themselves but also other healers.
Its sad about this legendary bc I would love to have a Na’aru just chilling casting heals with me.

Divine Image is easily the leggo I was most looking forward to. In PvP, however, I’ve gone entire matches without it activating once.
C’mon, I’m not a Shaman, why mock me with this RNG?
Yeah it’s pretty bad. Like really bad. I tried it out a couple times then just went right back to flash concentration. At least that gives guaranteed results.

This is a strong meta right now. My heals crit for like 12k and I can just dump them non-stop w/ Trail of Light juicyness. It’s amazing for M+ because I can heal the group through Prideful and other big aoe damage.

I chose Flash over Divine because I never will trust Blizz to make an RNG-reliant ability worthwhile, point proven. It sucks but it is just always how it’s been with things like that.
I crafted it, its really bad. I wanted a holdover until I got Harmonious Apparatus but I should have just made flash concentration. Don’t make it. It does proc more often if you talent apotheosis but it’s nowhere near good enough to be usable for M+.
Divine Image should’ve been a passive like it was with our artifact weapon in Legion.
