Divine Hammer (Talent)

Look, I’ll keep this short and sweet…I HATE this talent, it is the most boring, uninteresting talent I think I’ve ever seen paladins have, you’ll give us a worse version of Breath of Sindragosa but not a leap? It’s not fun to use, you can waste it so easy, it’s a pain to try and maintain it and it doesn’t do enough damage to justify juggling HP around something that does less damage than if you just build and spent HP in DS, Please remove this trash and replace it with something more useful, It’s painful to see such a dead talent that’s only going to get used 1 in this expac when it gets stupid buffed for 1 season.

My problem with the Talent is that it doesn’t give enough “oomph” in its damage for the amount of maintenance it needs. For a 2 minute cooldown, it needs to hit like a mack truck with rockets strapped on.

And because it’s so different, I was actually hoping it was going to be a good/fun Talent.

I 100% agree, it is incredibly underwhelming and for the amount of effort you have to put into it, you don’t get enough out.

Divine hammer is clutter I agree. There is literslly no point in it and it keepes this gameolay loop of “you have to do as maby xs during this window” that I hate. Similar to breath and that one dh talent I forgot its name.

It’s literally impossible to make it last longer than 10-12 sec.

There’s no limit to the increase in rate and so you quickly come to a point where it consumes HP faster than you can generate it.

Hard agree with this post. It feels like such a clunky and un-fun ability, I really hate it. There’s no way they keep it in its current state for too long… If they wanted to suddenly bring this ability back then why not just keep it in its WoD state? That version was very strong and very fun. I love the concept of applying a holy damaging aura around yourself, but current version of Divine Hammer ain’t it.
