Hey all!
So I had time today so I went in and reverted my driver to a previously known working one. And thankfully that resolved my issue.
I also called Dell, I have an Alienware Aurora 16 for another issue and we got to talking about the problems people are having since updated drivers on the 19th. They have been getting calls about the driver issues. If you have a Dell, on their end, they have a listing of drivers that work, that you can contact them and they will even remotely change them for you. Because people are having issues with that May 19 release, they are not putting those out.
Also, had to have my BIOS updated and they did that for me as well, everything was working just fine after I reverting the drivers, they just did some other updates while I was on the phone. Hope this helps someone and thank you to everyone that replied in regards to my issue. I guess the bad of it is I wont be able to play Doom until it all gets sorted out.
Update, I take that back. Was running fine yesterday with addons…tonight I could not even get in game. Had to go though and turn off addons until I could get back in…so no, issue is not resolved.
