Disturbing classic feedback

Classic isn'T classic anymore. This isn't right. No LFG, no changes, no phasing.

Vanillla has been made easy. If there isn't a bit of difficulty when it comes to leveling or finding a group, than that just isn't classic
What exactly are you talking about?

What exactly are you talking about?

There is old leftover code for the LFG system in the Classic Demo and kids think this means LFG will be in Classic. (note: you have to type a chat command to bring this up and it's not hooked up to anything obviously)

The demo also has phasing and people are upset about this (it's less clear if this is just leftover code for simplicity's sake or what to expect)
They have phasing, quest tables, upped the health regen, travel speed, damage... its not classic..

They had a chance to make a huge profit and they pissed on it.
Maybe do a tiny bit of research before you flame yourself out there guy.... They already addressed it, its only because to make it easy to share the demo on battle.net launcher, the lfr doesn't work and phasing won't be apart of the finished product.

But you know what? Go crazy! Scream, slam your head into things, go absolutely nuts on the forums, post a youtube video of you crying and being dramatic. Do it!

I can see why people would be p.o.'d at this. Why would they show us some version of it that's not the same as we're gonna get? LFG can't be in Classic, period.

Where is it addressed? Thanks

To hype it. They haven't finished Classic, but they needed something to draw folks in. So they pushed to get something done for Blizzcon, even if that something isn't exactly what Classic is going to be.

In any case, we already know Classic isn't going to be exactly like Vanilla. It's more of a re-creation, which hopefully (for Vanilla fans) will have the same feel as WoW did at launch.
Yeah i'm pretty sure this is just a thing that the demos have. If I'm wrong in the end well that sucks.

Anyone expecting a completely pure form of classic wow was kidding themselves.

These need these features, and it's why it's taking them so long to get the game out.

(it's not)
(you can bring up an inactive and disconnected menu, that is all)

Where is the 'HUGE Profit' possibility? Its a free game with no added sub. Tell me again how they are making money on this?

Nope, they don't need these features.
YOU want them.

Want and need are separate items.

No it doesn't need those features, because including them would make it not Classic.

However, as some have pointed out this is just a demo and some of what's seen might have leftover BfA code and stuff.
It's almost as if every demo in the history of demos blatantly states that "this is not a finished product and is subject to change."

The purpose of the demo was to try it out. Don't take a free sample and then scream "This buffet freaking sucks, guys!"

Some people will come back to play classic.
Some people won't play classic.
Some people will play both simulaneously.
Some people (and Blizzard probably hopes this is the case) will play classic when they are burned out on current expansion content and play classic until new content is released, which means they stay subbed.

Basically Classic might be enough to keep some people staying subscribed for longer than they otherwise would.

I'd be thrilled if they included all of that in classic...and more. Fixed some of the more obvious class imbalances. More graveyards. Slightly more gold. LFG. I'd be far more likely to stick with it.

They just confirmed sharding will be in vanilla via blue post in classic forums...
