Dissenting Opinion Isn't Trolling

You’re adorable.

Actually, thank you for proving my point.

speaking of which where has he been

+1 for truth.

Coming from the classic community that constant tells everyone to go play retail anytime someone wants something that was part of the expansion? Hypocrisy at it’s finest.

It’s just the way things are today.

People attach their opinions to their character because most of them are weak.

Anything in contrast to these opinions are therefore an attack on their character and their character must be defended.

Weak people.

When you have a dissenting opinion and express said opinion in an aggressive manner by calling people names, saying their opinion is “stupid, wrong, dumb”, and constantly put down anything by anyone you don’t agree with… It’s most certainly trolling.

I have yet to see any disagreement lately that hasn’t devolved into name calling.

The Anti-Rdfer side likes to resort to insults pretty often once you easily dismantle their narrative. Goes from a civil discussion to REEEEEEEE pretty quickly, just like i’d imagine happens irl to them.

I’m gonna assume that most of the people are trolling because I refuse to be mean and accuse them of actually being that stupid.

I think you’re all trolls because I’m nice.

-I mean… “aggressive” is subjective term in this kind of situation. Some conflate being assertive with being aggressive.
-Calling someone wrong isn’t aggressive.
-There are plenty of post that simply state an opinion without any derogatory name calling of the opposition that are met immediately with hostility and screams of “troll”.

It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it. And while plenty of posts are assertive and non-trollish, it only takes one well posted “troll” comment to send a discussion off the rails.

Yes, but I will go on record as saying, if someone’s only response is “Go play retail”, they are a troll just trying to create chaos and digress the discussion into name calling.

It has to be one of the most childish responses to anything and shows zero thought or willingness to actually participate in the discussion.

“Go play retail” is not a dissenting opinion, it is a derogatory statement meant to try and hurt someone feelings and belittle them.

This isnt true. I have a high post count just because i have been active on these forums since tbc.

You can get a lot of post count over 10+ years. Especially wheb you get into a heated back and forth discussion with some specific posters on here

And people have weaponised the report feature to report people who have an opinion different than their own.

That’s funny because I’ve seen the exact opposite.

So when the post is “we want RDF” (which is an opinion) then those who don’t want it are not allowed to reply back “we don’t want RDF”?

Your logic is flawed.

Pot meet Kettle.

Getting offended by the way someone challenges your opinion just makes you weak.

You’re attacking the messenger, not the message.

Ive seen the opposite…

Just curious - what does this mean? REEEEEEEEE

And what if that responce of go play retail was directed at someone who was saying go to classic era for no rdf? Because thats when i tell people to go to retail.
