Disrupt Missing

Logging into this character today I discovered I was missing the Disrupt ability.

This interrupt ability is granted through the completing of the Demon Hunter starting experience quest Before We’re Overrun. This character has completed this quest and the rest of the Demon Hunter starting experience and is currently in Dalaran.

I have verified that I have completed the above quest and did not skip it somehow using the following in-game script:

/script print(C_QuestLog.IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(38766))

Can you check your spellbook to see if it’s just not learnable until a certain level? Wowhead says that the spell requires level 29 now.

I am having this same issue and I do not understand why. I thought it was my UI not showing it since it came from the quest, but it wasn’t. I guess I’ll see if I get it at 29 when the ability upgrades.

Edit
Update: I got disrupt at level 19. I do not know if it finally registered I should have it from finishing the quest saying it was a reward or if it is the new level you obtain it. My spell book only showed the levels I’d get passive upgrades, so sadly cannot say for sure which is the case.

I’ve just had the same thing happen–no disrupt as a quest reward. My spellbook says I should get disrupt rank two at level 29 but the original spell is not there. Logging out and back in did not help.

[NB all other spells that have more than one rank do have both listed even if one hasn’t received them yet].

Other people have mentioned this, but I’ll reinforce it.

Every other ability that has more than one rank (which Disrupt does) shows the initial ability and then the next rank.

For example, Throw Glaive, Level 19; Throw Glaive, Rank 2, Level 19.

Disrupt says it is unlocked by a quest in Mardum, but does not.

The spellbook only shows Disrupt, Rank 2, Level 29.

Also, if that’s the case, the design behind leaving a melee class without an interrupt for 29 levels is horrendous.

Still broken on my new DH.
