This should be a complete obvious thing, because if anyone is going for the Loremaster achievement and is doing or has done Blade’s Edge Mountain it is the most horrific leveling area in the entire game.
I’m particularly referring to the Ogres of Ogri’la chain where you have to farm what seems like countless Apexis Shards to finish this part of the achievement and it takes hours, upon hours for a those who are leveling on alts.
At the end of the quest chain there are two final quests which require 35 apexis shards each, and they are not 100% drop rate, and will take roughly 200 mob kills. This is just absurd for two quests.
I’ve never seen a more annoying Loremaster achievement zone than Blade’s Edge Mountains and here is a SIMPLE FIX. Make the apexis shards not disappear for each quest, so they stack, and can be re-used.
You actually don’t need to grind them. Just do the daily quests for the ogres and the Skyguard outpost in the area. A few of the quests give 15 shards each.
About two days worth of dailies will get you all the shards you need for the Loremaster quests.

I would suggest using the timewalking tokens. I believe next month is BC timewalking.
Sadly the vendor doesn’t offer that reputation, it is the only BC rep I am missing just because I despise the simon says daily.
WOW, do I feel stupid. Didn’t even think about the blue exclamation point dailies after unlocking this area while leveling. I assumed they were just rep dailies and didn’t give Apexis Crystals. THANK YOU!!! I’ve been literally farming demons, bores, and other crap for hours…
