I can’t begin to tell u how many times I’ve had to explain to my friends that I was pressing dispersion but the gcd screwed me.

Make shadow word madness a disease again. Too easy to dispell with almost no down side as a magic debuff. Or give it much better dispell protection. It also needs to do more damage. Not sure how it will feel in 12.1, so I will not worry about the damage yet.

it was originally off GCD, but they added it to GCD.
Some classes are some aren’t and there’s no real reason for it.

Yea, I don’t know why they did that.
My current wish list for PvP:
- Dispersion needs to be off the GCD
- Fix tentacle slam! It needs to apply VT 100% of the time. Not 50%.
- Flash heal shouldn’t be hit by that 20% healing reduction coming up. I just have a feeling this isn’t going to go well for us.
- Shadow Word: Madness needs dispel protection or needs to go back to being a disease or a curse. Also, maybe it should do damage as well. Idk what the tuning will be like in 12.1, but right now it’s pretty minimal damage for all the resources it takes.
- Phase shift should be passive / in the class tree

I think being on GCD is fair given its usable in stuns.
I also think Madness needs to be DP again and we need to see either more dam on dispel protection or a 1 second longer horrify. OR give it more damage or a slightly lower insanity cost.
Curious - why does that matter if it can be used in stuns? Being on or off the GCD doesn’t matter too much for that. It already silences us. I don’t think it needs more down sides.
Its just one of those things…. Ice block is the same way on mage.
It sucks, but it isnt something that will feel as bad when we have more haste and our GCD is faster.
