Evening so weird situation. I’ve been playing wow fine for years. I recently upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 and reinstalled wow but now I can’t even play. Looking at the game and questing makes me feel ill. This is so nuts. I was fine raiding doing keys etc
Any advice on what it might be I need to adjust in game? Thank u for ur time
If your resolution up all the way? I can tell when mine is down because things get blurry making me wonder if I need glasses.
Hmmmm
Have you had your vision screened recently?
I have Meniere’s disease, when it’s acting up I have a hard time with some visually challenging aspects of the game.
I got sick at 90 fps, turned setting down to 50 fps and now I don’t get sick.
maybe you’re getting sick
in certain circumstances i can tell something’s not right before i start showing blatant symptoms
This can be due to many reasons. I’ll list a few to see if any of them may be the problem and to see if I can help you out. I also suffer from nausea when certain settings are on.
-
High FPS can sometimes cause motion sickness, especially if the FPS is not stable. Try turning on V-Sync and see if that helps.
-
Depth of field can also be a problem. Make sure to turn off anything that can change depth of field, not sure if this setting is in WoW but it always makes me feel dizzy.
-
Resolution scaling might also be a problem. Make sure you’re using the right aspect for your monitor.

Motion Blur also causes me dizziness. I don’t think there is a motion blur setting in WoW but just in case there is I’m listing it.
Also if you are using a 60 HZ monitor and you are pulling high above 200 frames, which on WoW is very possible, that may also be a problem.
I hope I could help.

I don’t remember if motion blur is something you can turn off, but turn it off. Either turn on or turn off monitor sync so that the 60hz or 120hz refresh rate of your monitor matches the fps of the game’s display. As someone else suggested, set the max frame rate in the game to something like 60fps.
I think others made these suggestions, but motion blur has always been an issue for me and the monitor sync (V-Sync) has sometimes been an issue for me.

Check the directx version you’ve got set in the game as well. I think something changed once Windows 10 got here and a dx version that wasn’t available before is available now. That would give you additional video options or change how some options work. I think you want the latest version if it will work with your system.
That sucks i have hashimoto myself diseases just suck in general.
