That being said they've never done an MMO but a Disney run MMO would probably be very successful.

Oh no they've had two spectacular failures in that department. Toontown and Club Penguin.
WarCraft cartoon tv series in "Teen Titans go!" style
all of a sudden, every quest needs to have silly parts. you're not allowed to go through an entire quest without a chuckle from some one liner.
Next expansion...

"Blood bath in the magic kingdom"
Hell no, After that pos last jedi i spent my money on. It had to be worst movie of the year and battlefronts 2 money grab. I will never support anything they ever have their name on again so i would have to quit wow

What happens next?

Overwatch meets the Incredibles and Big Hero 6.

Blizzard gets to add Disney themed maps and skins to HotS, Overwatch.
Azeroth becomes a world in Kingdom Hearts
85% of newly introduced characters would be strong independent women.
-Disneyland becomes a new continent in the blank spot behind azeroth
-Two new races, Donaldians for the Alliance, Goofarians for the Horde
-Keyblade Wielder Hero Class
They hand off World of Warcraft to EA, who then decimates the Blizzard team and leaves a skeleton crew to man the ship, like they did to Bioware, and we wind up with a swords and sorcery version of SWTOR.

Not that SWTOR is super bad right now..they've actually come a long way, but it comes to late.

you are late - we already have Jaina, Sylvanas, Tyranda and other Yrels
Considering the Kingdom Hearts series - I don't see it being too bad if they did. They'd allow Blizz to be Blizz without all the crap Activision likes pushing.
Blizzard begins jealously defending their assets, yet strangely the storywriting dramatically improves.
You'll get Jaina floating in space like Superman after being blown out of the Vindicaar, Sylvans being cut in half by a Light Saber on her throne, and Thrall drinking milk from a sea cow's teat.
I doubt they got any floating cash left after that 60b merger, if it goes through.

The real consolation is Blizzard is on a different industry than Disney/Fox does.

The last piece of good game i can even remotely recall under the Disney flag is probably the 80's side scroller, while the modern day games like those carry the 'Star Wars' tag mostly end up disastrous.
Many more mushroom shaped rocks added to the game.
I, being a paladin, end up looking fabulous as !@#$ in my dress-armor! :3
Achievements are added for finding hidden mickeys.
Honestly Disney couldn't be any worse than Activision.

But I don't see why Disney would want to get into the weeds of game development. They're very happy taking over all content creation and distribution and outsourcing actual game development based on their content.
