The first lockout in Gnomergan I saw logs where Dismantle was doing 10%+ of people’s overall damage. That was clearly too much, but the nerf has gone way, way overboard. In Gnomergan yesterday our DPS’s Dismantle ranged from 0.8 to 2 DPS on every boss.
Two DPS. For an epic enchant that only works on mechanical mobs. This nerf is an insane overreaction.
Fix it please.

And of course i bought double dismantle, and it got nerfed before i got to use it

Did it today, it was .7% on the boss mobs. Didn’t check it on trash.
That’s pretty pathetic considering what it costs to obtain the enchant and the materials to actually enchant it.
I bet +INT or +weapon damage would be pretty close to a 1% increase in damage and those enchants are learned from a trainer. AND those enchants work universally, not just on mechanical enemies.

so glad I blew the money on this enchant and not +3 to int… I feel bad for the enchanters that spent 25g on this garbage.
The gold cost is absurd, but it’s competing with +5 weapon damage which is a little over 1% damage increase. An enchant is just a nice bonus, not a centerpiece of your damage.
Right. It’s competing with an enchant that is learned from a trainer that costs 1/10th the gold to enchant. It also only works on mechanical targets, whereas +5 weapon damage works globally.
Since it only works in one zone on one type of target, shouldn’t it be significantly better? Because currently it’s worse. That’s the point.

imagine being a caster and their only option other than dismantle is +3 int, which is probably actually more dps than this terrible epic enchant.
