Disintegrate no longer turns you towards the enemy

It used to work like every other channeled ability where your character turns to face the enemy, and dynamically turns when the enemy does. But since the War Within it no longer is the case. Is this intentional?

If it is necessary for whatever reason, could the character animation at least be updated so that the torso rotates towards the target like other spells do? Currently if the enemy isn’t directly in front of you it looks like your character is aiming at a direction and the spell goes sideways

I don’t remember it ever turning you, and it’s better that it doesnt imo, makes kiting far easier when you can just 180 the chain and continue.

Yeah the forced turning was always so infuriating as disc priest with penance. Should just be an accessibility setting

You could always do that, you just have to be facing the target at the start of the cast.

Nothing’s changed functionally, it’s purely a camera/animation bug

I do wish we could enable/disable this in the settings
