to “remove” “content” from the game based on “phases” requires altering said code.

DKs are nothing more than a trigger and action script with an association to ‘civilian’ vs PvP NPCs…
Not at all difficult or worthy of “months” of work to get coded properly putting DKs in P3 where they belong.

It does not take “months” to disable instance portals…
It does not take “months” to disable action triggers within the code…
i think the most significant part of your argument is that there is an arbitrary “3 months” or whatever that will be required in order for this to be implemented, with no evidence. pretty convenient how that arbitrary amount keeps the idea from sounding like a good idea.

Just like there is a REASON DKs should come with Phase 3 not Phase 2…
If you are trying to suggest we are not getting an 1.12 experience. I agree.
They are trying to deliver 1.12 pacth level systems with phased in vanilla content. They call it Classic.

Having enough quests to hit 60 with is a change. Not falling through the world when charging is a change. Arcane explosion having no cast time is a change. Connected flight plans is a change. Merchant buyback is a change. 10-15 min dungeon trash re-spawn timers being changed to an hour … is a change. And the list goes on.
