Disgusting

Open LFG for arena and you will find more bots selling boosts and desperate plebs trying to get people to watch them stream. Then finally when you get through all of that the 20% left are actual players wanting to play the game.

This game is so bad.

Right, it must be the game’s fault that Twitch and boosters exist.

I agree, the game is fu*king brutal.

If Blizzard is going to allow the sellers to be ingame, then it’d be a good idea to get them their own chat service boxes ingame.

That way, if a player wants to look for a carry, they’ll know to go to a specific place for that.
Otherwise, the rest is for the player base not looking for carries.

They’d just use both.

How about we cut out the middle man and just start selling Mythic 15s and Heroic clears on the cash shop.

I like the idea of people selling carries in an MMORPG. It’s immersive.

I understand LFG being filled with nothing but sales is an issue though.

Yup that’s the straw that broke the camels back for me.

Got groups easily in bfa, soon as SL hit, nothing but this. PvP was the only thing I liked

Not if the game’s AI can just move their selling posts to the other site/area.

Idk what to call it, what do you call those boxes that come up that show all the grouping?
Chat boxes?

Why do I even have to do them? Just let me pay and have followers do it - I can just log in later and get rewards at mission table.

I mean create an environment where boosting is easy and profitable and yes it would be your fault.

Instead blizz cracking down on boosting they decided to profit off it by selling tokens and lvl boosts.

You can say it’s not there fault but throwing gasoline all throughout your backyard and being surprised when it ignites is just plain stupid

This seems like a good compromise that they should at least try out. Although, I fear that their lack of moderation will keep it from working. As we all know, there is no moderation unless reporting, and most of the reported moderation I see is over nothing while toxicity runs rampant.

If the reporting tool can be automated to move a post to another area, that could work.

Idk enough about the tech part of this to really talk much on it but it seems like Blizzard could do something like that.

Use that.

came here to post this.

use the addon and you won’t see the ads. (fwiw, I agree they have no place in lfg, but since blizz won’t remove them… use the addon)

I mean, yes?

Boosts will always be a thing, but the game’s design actively helps them right now and Blizzard doesn’t seem to see it as a problem.

Just use interface Mb, and download things in order to not see spam guy, totally normal and not cope.

blizzard cares not for bots , in Illidan theres a bot 24 /7 boting darkmoon decks and now ilvl 200 rings 24 /7 all of the crafters ive spoken with have noticed the bot but gave up on reporting him , blizzard just doesnt care.

besides the game has become pay 2 win at this point , its too profitable for people and profitable for blizzard due token sales .
This is no longer a game it seems its more of a mini store where you just sell services + game purchase+sub .

Don’t give them any ideas, boosting is damaging the game.

yea dude, using addons which we have been using for over fifteen years. in a game designed from the ground up to incorporate addons, is indeed totally normal.

or you can not use them, see the ads, and continue to whine about them.

those are the choices currently available to you, until blizzard does something on their end to remove them. which they should. but they have not.

that’s what sucks so much about this. blizzard 100% absolutely could do something about this, but for some reason - they don’t. tinfoil hat wearing me assumes it’s because they sell more tokens if people buy carries.

but it’s completely dumb that ads in LFG are against the TOS, addon developers have proven that they can block the ads, yet blizzard does nothing to block them in the baseline ui.
